Jessey Michael Sweeton, 47

With profound sadness, I announce the passing of my father, Jessey Michael Sweeton, 47, who passed away unexpectedly on April 5th, 2026.
Funeral services were held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma.
Following the services he was cremated.
Through his life journey he made great impacts on the people around him. He served this country, loved his family, was a loyal friend, and a loving father. Not only was he a father, but he was a son and a brother as well. He was warm, kind, humorous, and passionate about the things he cared about. Jessey spent his time building motorcycles, climbing waterfalls, reading Stephen King books, and spending quality time with his daughters and grandkids. He always wanted something sweet and loved orange Kool-Aid and cereal. He loved animals of all kinds and could see the good in people. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that lives on in the lives of everyone who knew him. From a young age, Jessey was known for his quick mind, deep curiosity, informed wit, and quiet kindness. He spent his life figuring out how to do anything he put his mind to. The man who could fix anything—from a broken toy to a broken heart. He taught us how to be strong, the importance of hard work, and filled our lives with love. He will be deeply missed by his family and his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Carey. His sister Leila Freidl. His daughters, Morgan Sweeton, Alysia Sweeton, and Sophia Sweeton. His grandchildren, Ivy and Anakin McGowan, and he is also survived by Chyna Buckner, and she was his best friend.
