The Addict

Our federal (and some states also) government has become the alcoholic parent that promises loves when sober yet drinks almost all the time and acts alien-like, abusive, unloving, uncaring under the influence, except to other drinking buddies. Yet, we are to blame: we bought the mood-altering-substance (MAS) and gave it to the abuser. Some of us, about 30% or so of the American electorate, happily keep giving feeding the addict, keep proving his crutch, supplying the MAS, often imbibing themselves, and the results are a government who, like the powerful addict within any relationship, is destroying its surroundings and the thing it proposes to love, its truth a constant lie. Our current federal government run, by the abusive Draco-II and his sycophant imbibers, are destroying American constitutional democracy in favor of all things opposite of equality, diversity, inclusion, and “a more perfect union”.

Both political parties have their addicts to power. That’s politics. But it is only now through the culmination of a 50year long covert effort that Republicans planned how to gain power at a level almost uncontrollable by the people. Project 2025, which most Republicans who voted for Draco-II did not even bother to read, has now incarnated as a living force almost incapable of being corralled, almost unstoppable in its desire to force purity of race and religion onto the American psyche, almost without equaled in history in its declaration that the rich and powerful Epstein-class should rule over people – a king over his serfs, an emperor over his slaves, the elite over the servants. National security is declared by Draco-II to justify all actions, including war: everything’s an emergency! Unempathetic, stupid, dictatorial management.

But that is not what Americans signed up for 250 years ago. Reread the Preamble to the Constitution; it says exactly what we did sign up for. ALL of that is being destroyed by Draco-II and his minions. A politically-weakened judiciary is trying to keep Draco-II in check, but, unfortunately, Republicans in SCOTUS are already in his pocket: a fait-accompli?

It’s time for Non-MAGA democracy-loving Americans to do WHATEVER they can to stop Draco-II’s corruption, to start political tough love, begin an intervention, to disempower the addicts, stop feeding their ego-loving MAS – power, halt Project 2025’s democratic suicide. There are only two avenues left to stop this destruction, and Draco-II knows them both well: the first is to un-elect legislators at all levels who support Draco-II and Project 2025, and if that fails to right the ship, then the last option is for a military coup to take power away from them. Draco-II and his sycophants (including the Republican majority of the current SCOTUS) have already taken steps to force oneparty rule; military officers (especially women and those of color) who are perceived to oppose the Draco-II regime are being eliminated. The plan to rig the game is unfolding. If not stopped, Draco-II becomes King of America, a despot benevolent only to his financial benefactors. People and Nature first! No Kings!
