2027 seniors in the spotlight: Alex Miller

Dual sports athlete for Tullahoma High School, Alex Miller, will be a featured player in his 2027 senior year for the Tullahoma golf and basketball teams.
Golf
Miller, in his sophomore season, established himself as one of the best golfers on the THS golf team, and he further established that in his junior season.
He had many memorable moments in his third year with the Wildcats’ program. In July of 2025, he placed second overall in the Lawrenceburg Opening Day Invitational. In September at the Keith Maxwell Invitational, Miller tied for first overall in the competition with Hud Mattox from Lawrence County. He shot a 73 at the event.
Miller was also a part of a big team accomplishment during their 2025 season. Tullahoma was able to defend its team championship by posting its lowest combined score of the season to that point with a 308.
It will be exciting to see what Miller and the rest of the Wildcats 2026 golf team can accomplish in his final season with the program.
Basketball
It was a matter of time before Miller became a meaningful contributor to the Tullahoma basketball team. In his sophomore season there were many games he did not step on the floor. He did get some chances to play sporadic minutes here and there. In these brief moments, on the court, it was clear that he had immense talent. He has elite elusiveness on the dribble and is a crafty scorer around the basket, and pairs that part of his scoring game with a good perimeter jumper.

In in his junior year, he displayed all these skills in a bigger role on a nightly basis. One of his best games of the season came in a 65-45 win over Marshall County High School. He had 16 points on 7-8 shooting from the field and also tallied on an impressive four steals. Even more stat lines like this are likely to come in the 2026-2027 season from Miller. This comes from him improving even more in the offseason, and the door for more opportunity opening with a significant amount of Wildcat players from the 2025-2026 team graduating.
Last year’s whole starting five for the majority of the season were all seniors: Jayden Thompson, Austin Tinnon, Alex Bobo, Sam Bobo, and Lukas Price.
