THS Tennis announces Tullahoma Tennis Invitational

The Tullahoma High School tennis team is launching its inaugural Tullahoma Tennis Invitational fundraiser tournament.
According to THS tennis coach and organizer Kristin Luna, the tournament will take place from July 17-19 at the THS tennis courts, and will feature boys’ and girls’ singles divisions in a single-elimination format, with first-round consolation play ensuring participants have the opportunity for additional match experience. All rising freshmen through 2026 high school graduates are eligible to play.
“This fundraising event is made possible through the support of the Tullahoma Sports Council, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Tullahoma High School tennis program,” Luna said. “Funds raised will help support equipment purchases, specifically buying the program a professional ball machine, ensuring continued growth and success for THS student-athletes both on and off the court.”
Luna added that there’s rapidly growing interest in court sports in the area, as the MTTC summer league had more than 100 people sign up this year, the largest in history.
“We want to provide more opportunities for youth to expand their game outside of the regular school season,” Luna said.
Registration is $25 per player, and each player is asked to bring one unopened can of tennis balls as part of their tournament registration. Players can register by scanning the QR code in the flyer or emailing me at kristinluna@gmail.com. Each player will need a waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
