Two Tullahoma XC athletes commit to run at the collegiate level

The Tullahoma High School XC team recently had two seniors from their 2025 team sign with colleges, on a scheduled signing day of 10 Wildcat athletes at THS; Jackson Ites and Lukas Price. Ites will attend Motlow State Community College for XC, and Price will attend Cumberland University for both XC and track.
Both Ites and Price were big pieces of the THS XC program in 2025, each having an extremely successful season. As runners, they each kept getting stronger throughout the year. Ites and Price recorded personal record times throughout 2025. For Ites, this includes an outing towards the end of the season at an event at Macon County, where he set a PR. Price in that same event had the best placement out of any of the Wildcats’ runners from the boys’ team, as he finished in second place.
Price and Ites join a group of two other XC seniors on the boys’ team that will compete at the college level next season, Major Montoye and Everett Tinsley. Montoye and Tinsley are both committed to Motlow.
“This group of seniors is special – not only are they accomplished runners, but they are also great students and always so supportive of each other,” Coach Angel Allen said regarding the four runners.
There is no doubt that each of these Tullahoma athletes has high character. Combining that with their athletic talent, they should all be in for good college careers at their respective schools.
