Community Calendar is a service of the Tullahoma News and is free of charge for community and church announcements. Those wishing to submit an event should email their item to dsherrill@tullahomanews.com or contact Duane Sherrill at 931-455-4545 with the information. Deadline is Wednesday morning for inclusion in Sunday’s edition and Monday morning for Wednesday’s edition. You may submit your event a month ahead of the date and reoccurring events may also be published in the community calendar.

Tullahoma Farmer’s Market back in season: The Tullahoma Farmers’ Market is back and is open on Mondays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at South Jackson Performing Arts Center on 404 S. Tullahoma Senior Citizens Center Daily Schedule: Lapidary-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 a.m. to noon; Crochet-Mondays 11 a.m.; Line Dance-Mondays and Wednesdays 1:30 p.m.; Exercise-Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:30 a.m.; Movie and Popcorn-Thursdays 11:30 a.m. The Pool Room, TV Room, and Card Games are available during the Center’s hours of 8:30 a.m. -3 p.m. Monday through Thursday (closes at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays). Tullahoma Food Fair returns May 6: The Tullahoma Food Fair returns for the season on Wednesday, May 6, from 5 to 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church at the intersection of Cedar Lane and Wilson Avenue. Stop by and see what goodies are available. They will be there every Wednesday from May thru October.

Tullahoma Art Students May Exhibit at The Celtic Cup: Stop by the Celtic Cup, located at 106 N. Anderson St., for the month of May to enjoy an art gallery by students at Tullahoma City Schools.

New American Funding Ribbon Cutting May 28: Join both the Manchester and Tullahoma Area chambers of commerce for the joint ribbon cutting for New American Funding on Thursday, May 28, at 4 p.m. at 1421 McArthur St. in Manchester.

Freefly Skills Camp May 30-31: Join Skydive Tennessee for an immersive freeflying skills camp led by world record holders Dana Bjorn and Palmer Collett. This camp is designed for jumpers looking to learn new skills or sharpen existing ones in a focused, supportive environment. Slots are limited. Pop Up Market at Neon Alley May 31: Join Neon Alley Arcade and Bar for laid-back Sunday afternoon with its Pop Up Market on Sunday, May 31, from noon to 4 p.m. There will be local vendors, food, drinks and fun inside the arcade.

Informed Citizens Series May 31: Sunday, May 31, 2– 5 p.m. Informed Citizens Series Documentary entitled, “An Inconvenient Truth” – Community Room of the Coffee County Administrative Building, 1335 McArthur Street, in Manchester.

SCHRA meets June 4: The South Central Human Resource Agency will hold a Governing Board Meeting on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11 a.m., at the SCHRA Central Office, 1437 Winchester Hwy., Fayetteville, TN. An agenda is attached. The SCHRA Budget/Audit/ Appropriations, Property, Personnel, and 1303 Committees will meet prior to the Governing Board Meeting at 10 a.m.

Adoption event at Petsmart June 6: The Tullahoma Animal Shelter will hold its adoption event on Saturday, June 6, at Petsmart from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The dogs at the event will be offered as foster- only so the animal shelter will work with potential adopters fill out paperwork and, upon review, will be qualified to go ahead and take the dog home.

Trailside Talks at Short Springs: Sunday, June 7, 1– 4 p.m. Trailside Talks at Short Springs Natural Park in Tullahoma. Outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and environmentalists can gather each month to enjoy the beautiful trails and waterfalls that Coffee County has to offer. Hosted by the Coffee County Democratic Party.

THP roadblock June 10: The THP will hold a sobriety checkpoint on June 10 at 10 p.m. at U.S. Highway 41 at Asbury Road. Scheduled checkpoints are contingent upon manpower and weather conditions.

United in Spirits June 13: United Way of South Central Tennessee invites the community to an evening of celebration, connection and impact at United in Spirits, presented by DOT Foods and Jack Daniel’s, scheduled for Saturday, June 13, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Jack Daniel’s BBQ Hill.

The signature summer fundraiser will bring together supporters from across Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Lincoln, Moore, Rutherford and Warren counties to enjoy live music, exceptional food and a shared commitment to strengthening local communities. More than a social gathering, United in Spirits raises critical funds to support programs that help children succeed in school, improve access to health resources and empower individuals and families to achieve financial stability. Guests will check in at the Tennessee Whiskey Trailhead and Lynchburg Welcome Center, where transportation will be provided to BBQ Hill.

Proceeds from the event directly support United Way initiatives focused on education, health and financial stability across South Central Tennessee.
