Take a seat at Bouchard’s Grill

Food truck Bouchard’s Grill celebrated a major milestone as now customers who stop by will now have the option to eat their orders inside.
Bouchard’s Grill held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, in partnership with the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce, to celebrate its expansion on Monday, March 23, at its main location at 607 E. Carroll St.
According to owner Rosie Bouchard, she and her children Jesse and Theo, who are also her business partners, said Bouchard’s Grill has been going for the last three years, starting off in a little white truck, which is still being used for events today, before setting up the establishment on East Carroll Street.
While customers can either come and pick up food or eat outside, Bouchard said she saw a need to have an inside area after seeing customers be uncomfortable eating in hot and cold weather.
“They want to enjoy the burger right there,” Bouchard said. “It tastes different when you take it home than when you have it just made and then it’s right there. It’s so much different.”
With the vision set, Bouchard said it took about a year to renovate the building next to the food truck into a sit-in option with tables and booths.
As part of the celebration, guests got to enjoy free samples provided by Bouchard’s Grill and see some of the new items on the menu as they sat down in the new establishment.
“I feel blessed,” Bouchard said when asked about the response from the community. “To have a community on back always supporting. If it wasn’t for God, my customers, friends and family, this will never be happening.”
Anyone wants to try Bouchard’s Grill can stop by Tuesday through Friday from the times of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8:30 p.m., and on Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Bouchard said the breaks in hours is so she and her staff can make and prep their food for customers. Bouchard’s Grill can also be found on Facebook and other social media websites.
