Special Olympics Spring Games May 4

The Special Olympics Area 13 Spring Games will take place on Monday, May 4, at Tullahoma High School (THS), bringing together athletes from across the region for a day of competition, celebration, and community spirit.

Primary elections this Tuesday

Residents planning to vote early will have until Thursday, April 30, to cast their ballots before the May 5 primary. For those who do not exercise their early voting option, the polls will open around the county on May 5 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at their local voting precinct.

Deborah L. “Debbie” Coffelt, of Tullahoma, entered into Glory on Friday, April 24th, 2026 at McArthur Manor Assisted Living in Manchester at the age of 66. Debbie was born in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Paul J. and Betty Tooley Hopkins.

Carolyn Sells Hoosier, 75, of Sherwood, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. A native of Franklin County, she was born in Sinking Cove on Feb. 5, 1951.

Roy F. Partin, 88

Roy F. Partin, 88, of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at St. Thomas Rutherford Medical Center in Murfreesboro. A native of Franklin County, he was born on Nov. 7, 1937, to the late Beelus J. and Edith (Starnes) Partin.

Tracy Leigh Sample, 62, of Estill Springs, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on June 26, 1963, to the late Charles and Sara (Clark) Sample.
