Tourists spend $145.8M in 2025
Those who visited Coffee County in 2025 spent about $145.8 million, according to an economic impact report shared by the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development According to the report, in 2025 Coffee County tourism saw $145.8 million in direct visitor spending; $8.3 million generated in state tax revenue; $5.7 million generated in local tax revenue; $399,580 spent by visitors every day on lodging, dining, retail, transportation and recreation; and $605 in annual tax savings per Coffee County household as a result of state and local taxes generated by tourism.
Walk for Alzheimer’s braves the heat
temperature was already 86 degrees at the start time of the walk. Regardless, approximately 138 walkers lined up and began walking at 9:30 a.m., all for the cause of supporting Alzheimer’s research and resources. The steadfast commitment of those walkers made the Lynchburg-Tullahoma Walk to End Alzheimer’s a success.
Ascend named best place to work
For the 11th consecutive year, Ascend Federal Credit Union has been recognized by American Banker as one of the top 70 best credit unions to work for in the United States.
