Community Calendar is a service of the Tullahoma News and is free of charge for community and church announcements. Those wishing to submit an event should email their item to dsherrill@ tullahomanews. com or contact Duane Sherrill at 931-455-4545 with the information. Deadline is Wednesday morning for inclusion in Sunday’s edition and Monday morning for Wednesday’s edition. You may submit your event a month ahead of the date and reoccurring events may also be published in the community calendar.

Beans and Cornbread candidate forum April 11: Saturday, April 11, 6 p.m. – Beans and Cornbread Candidate Forum and CCDP Future Forward Meeting – at the Community Room of the Coffee County Administrative Building, 1335 McArthur Street, Manchester. Bring your best beans and/or cornbread for judging OR just bring a big appetite. Meet your 2026 democratic candidates who are running for office. Hear their views and ask questions.

Piping on the Green April 11: The 12th annual Piping on the Green event will be taking place on Saturday, April 11, at South Jackson Performing Arts Center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This year’s free festival will add Scottish Highland Games and armored combat in addition to the two stages of Celtic music, dance, workshops, food, craft vendors, bagpipers, and a very special whisky tasting experience brought to you by Impex beverages. Bring a chair and stay for the day as you immerse yourself in celtic culture! Bring the family and find your clan, pet a highland cow, watch as brave knights in armor test their mettle, see live wood and metal working demonstrations, and spectate as kilted competitors test their strength in the historic Highland Games.

Retired Teachers hold Pre-retirement meeting April 16: The Coffee County Retired Teachers will host a pre-retirement meeting for future retirees of the Coffee County, Tullahoma City, and Manchester City School Systems on April 16, 2026. The meeting will be held at the Coffee County School Board Room in the Administrative Plaza in Manchester. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., and refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend to receive information even if you are not retiring this year.

SCHRA meets April 16: The South Central Human Resource Agency Head Start/Early Head Start Policy Council meeting will meet at 10:30 a.m. on April 16, 2026, at the South Central Human Resource Agency Central Offi ce in Fayetteville.

Night in Little Italy April 18: The Decherd Knights of Columbus will be serving their infamous “Night in Little Italy” Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 5 – 7 p.m., in the Good Shepherd Church Parish Center in Decherd. The Spaghetti Dinner will be served on China plates and will include our traditional spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, drinks, and homemade desserts. Adult tickets are $10, and children under 12 are $5, tickets can be purchased at the door or after Mass. This is a charitable event hosted semiannually by the Knights. Eat in or takeout.

Pancake Breakfast April 18: The Tullahoma Women’s Club invites residents to enjoy some pancakes at its Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 18, from 8-10 a.m. at 709 Wilson Ave. Tickets for the breakfast is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for children under 12. Tullahoma Animal Shelter Meet & Greet April 18: Stop by Tully’s Coffee Co. with the Tullahoma Animal Shelter and Haunted Tullahoma for a fun Meet & Greet Event! Come sip a drink, browse the shop, and meet some adorable dogs looking for their forever homes. The event will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 127 W. Lincoln St.
