Community Calendar is a service of the Tullahoma News and is free of charge for community and church announcements. Those wishing to submit an event should email their item to dsherrill@tullahomanews.com or contact Duane Sherrill at 931-455-4545 with the information. Deadline is Wednesday morning for inclusion in Sunday’s edition and Monday morning for Wednesday’s edition. You may submit your event a month ahead of the date and reoccurring events may also be published in the community calendar.

Tullahoma Farmer’s Market back in season: The Tullahoma Farmers’ Market is back and is open on Mondays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at South Jackson Performing Arts Center on 404 S. Jackson St. and will run through September. For more information, follow the Tullahoma Farmers’ Market on its Facebook page at facebook.com/TullahomaMarket.

Lapidary-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 a.m. to noon; Crochet-Mondays 11 a.m.; Line Dance-Mondays and Wednesdays 1:30 p.m.; Exercise-Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9:30 a.m.; Movie and Popcorn-Thursdays 11:30 a.m. The Pool Room, TV Room, and Card Games are available during the Center’s hours of 8:30 a.m. -3 p.m. Monday through Thursday (closes at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays). Chamber Coffee April 28:

The Chamber Coffee sponsored by TUA will be held at 11 a.m. at The Atlantic.

TUA meeting April 28: The TUA Board of Directors will meet at the TUA Building April 28 at 5 p.m.

Jazz vocalist at South Jackson April 30: Jazz vocalist Karla Harris and her quintet will be at South Jackson Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m., April 30.

Drive-in Movie at Marble Springs Church May 1: The historic Marble Plains Baptist Church will host Drive-In Ministries from Alabama for an outdoor movie night on Friday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join with friends and family under the stars and watch “Unsung Hero,” a family friendly movie based on a true story. The movie is completely free and concessions will be provided by the church. On Saturday, May 2, the movie, “Family Camp,” will be shown as an indoor matinee at 2:30 p.m. The church is located just inside Tims Ford State Park at 525 Marble Plains Road.

Workers over Billionaires protest May 1: May Day Protest-Workers Over Billionaires, Friday, May 1, 5p.m. – 7 p.m. Sidewalk in front of Walgreen’s, at the intersection of Hillsboro Blvd. and McMinnville Hwy., Manchester. Hosted by the Coffee County Democratic Party. Join us as we stand with workers across the country demanding economic justice, labor rights, and a government that puts People Over Politics.

Tullahoma Banana Pudding Festival May 2: Brianna Victory Events are inviting banana pudding lovers and residents alike to the Tullahoma Banana Pudding Festival on May 2, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the parking lot near Ollie’s off Lincoln. The event is free admission and free parking. Vendors who are interested in participating in the event can contact either Brianna Hale at 931-952-0472 or Alyssa Edwards at 615-955-2003. Tullahoma Soapbox Derby May 2: The Tullahoma Soapbox Derby returns to Tullahoma on Saturday, May 2, starting at 6:30 a.m. at Sonic Hill on Lincoln Street. To register, go to www. reg2run.com and scroll down to Tullahoma Soapbox.

Tullahoma Food Fair returns May 6: The Tullahoma Food Fair returns for the season on Wednesday, May 6, from 5 to 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church at the intersection of Cedar Lane and Wilson Avenue. Stop by and see what goodies are available. They will be there every Wednesday from May thru October.

Drinking Water Celebration May 7: The Tullahoma Utilities Authority is inviting residents to participate in Drinking Water Week with its Drinking Water Celebration event on Thursday, May 7. The event will be held at TUA’s campus, located at 901 S. Jackson St., from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. where they can enjoy good food, win prizes and learn about the importance of drinking clean water.

CCDP’s Future Forward Meeting May 9: Join the Coffee County Democratic Party for the second Saturday of each month at the Coffee County Administrative Plaza, 1329 McArthur St. in Manchester, in the Community Room, as we endeavor to help our Coffee County neighbors who are in need. Bring canned or non-perishable foods for our local food pantry. Donate to end medical debt for Coffee County residents who are well below the federal poverty level and have medical debt more than 5% of their income. For each dollar donated, Contest Every Race, a nonpartisan nonprofit organization, will match donations 200:1! Be a part of positive change!

Drawing Together with Heather May 9: Free monthly Drawing together with Heather events include May 9 at Beans Creek Winery – 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.; June 13 at Tims Ford State Park – 1 to 3 p.m.; July 11 at The Celtic Cup in Tullahoma – 1 to 3 p.m.; August 8 at Old Stone Fort State Park – 1 to 3 p.m.

THP roadblock May 13: The THP will hold sobriety checkpoint May 13 at 1 p.m. at Wattendorf Memorial Highway at Decherd Highway.

Second annual Ducky Derby May 16: The Shepherd’s House is inviting residents to its second annual Ducky Derby on Saturday, May 16, at D.W. Wilson Community Center and the Splash Island Lazy River. The event opens at 10 a.m. and will feature a scavenger hunt at 10:30 a.m., where the first three to complete get a prize, the Ducky Derby Hat fashion show starts at 12:30 p.m., where there will be prizes for the prettiest, duckiest, biggest, quackiest, and ugly duckling hats. For the race itself, price for participation are $10 per duck, or $50 for six ducks and $100 for 15 ducks, and there will be prizes for the winners.

Bethany Church homecoming May 23: Bethany Church located at 2754 Riley Creek Road will hold homecoming and a memorial services May 23 at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Ricky Wade will speak and there will be music by Curtis Hice and Jeannie Bowden before a covered dish meal. The church was established in 1888 and the church and cemetery are maintained by the Good Neighbors Club. Persons unable to attend may send donations for upkeep of the cemetery to Debbie Crownover, 143 Crownover Lane, Normandy, TN 37360.
