LCLA will use these funds for an infant/ toddler playground installation, a preschool swing expansion and classroom furniture.

Tullahoma High School was awarded $24,298.90 from the Tullahoma Educational Foundation For Excellence grant. The majority of these funds are going toward Health Science classes to purchase two new advanced adult nursing manikins to replace an aging, outdated model.

Additionally, Tullahoma High School has been awarded $4,280 that will be used to purchase a Boxlight Clevertouch Pro 75” interactive display to allow math students to have more hands-on learning experiences. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) classes are receiving $3,643.86 to purchase a racing simulator that will provide students with a more hands-on, engaging way to apply concepts such as motion, force, engineering design and data analysis in a real-world context.

The Tullahoma High School cosmetology department is receiving $1,977.36 to purchase supplies and materials needed to integrate barbering skills into the cosmetology curriculum. Additionally, $1,657 has been awarded to the high school’s Work-Based Learning (WBL) program to purchase Job Ready WBL. This digital platform supports compliance and coordination and creates real-world work experiences by digitizing many of the documents and tasks students now perform.

The school will use $4,000 to partner with Roots and Wings, a Tullahoma-based educational organization, to implement an after-school Spanish Language Acquisition program for fourthand fifth-grade students as an enrichment opportunity outside the school day.

JTF will also use $3,500 to help transform the school’s elementary science deck into a revitalized outdoor classroom that enhances science instruction and provides hands-on learning experiences for all students.
