Tullahoma boys’ stopped at Regional

The Tullahoma High School boys’ soccer team’s 2026 season officially came to a close. They lost in the first round of the regional tournament to Cumberland County High School, 3-2.

Sleep Health

When we think of health, we often think of diet and exercise, but sleep is equally important. Good sleep is essential for our physical and emotional well-being. Adults need an average of 7-9 hours of sleep daily. Not getting enough sleep can increase your hunger the next day, reduce your feeling of fullness after eating, and make you more likely to crave junk food high in carbohydrates and sugar. Additionally, not getting enough sleep can increase your risk of depression and anxiety and raise your blood pressure, which increases your risk of a heart attack.

Duncan qualifies for multiple state events

Junior for the Tullahoma track and field team, Brindley Duncan has continued an impressive career in her third high school season. She recently competed at a sectional meet with the rest of the Wildcats’ track and field team, where she officially stamped her spot in three events for the upcoming TSSAA state meet.

Lonnie Cecil Stevens, 79

Lonnie Cecil Stevens, 79, of Winchester, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, May 15, 2026. He was born on Aug. 31, 1946, in the Anderson Community of Franklin County, to the late Tommie and Annie Pearl (Wells) Stevens.
